![]() ![]() My guess is that most people who hate the city have already left so it's a self-selected crowd. People in Columbus aren't passionate about their city like they are here. However the thing that impresses me most about this city is the pride that people have. It always takes longer than I think it would to go from one part of town to the other. Getting around the city isn't as easy as, say Columbus which has a nice logical freeway system. There's the normal smattering of rich and poor areas, and we have our share of big box retailers, and small trendy shops. For starters, living in the burbs in Cleveland is no different than living in the burbs of any Midwestern city. Now that I live here, the city has grown on me tremendously. Plus, the city has a piss poor reputation. I had visited Cleveland many times before and was never impressed with, well, anything. I've lived in 4 different places in the Midwestern over the past 10-15 years, with Cleveland being the latest, and my home indefinitely.Ĭoming from Columbus, I was not looking forward to moving to Cleveland. ![]() Agree with all the pros and cons listed here. ![]()
